As a pioneer of wine routes in South Africa, Delheim has been a beloved wine destination for decades. Our lush and elevated setting is poised to be enjoyed with the focus returned to its exceptional wines. There are now two different types of wine tastings available – the Reserve Tasting and the Delheim Tasting.

Wine tastings on the property can be enjoyed outside on the garden patio from where Table Mountain can be seen; or in the cool Downstairs Cellar.

As a wine tourism leader, Delheim was the first estate to serve cheese platters and the first South African wine farm to have a restaurant – something today’s visitors to the Cape Winelands take for granted.

You can also indulge in a winter spot sweet experience– the Wine & Fynbos Cupcake Pairing.

Wine & Fynbos Cupcake Pairing

A next-level experience with an all-new twist of an evergreen favourite that puts the Cape’s famous Floral Kingdom and Delheim’s eco-friendly winemaking front-and-centre.

This latest addition employs an entirely new range of fynbos-inspired cupcakes to showcase the excellence of Delheim wines.

This tasting experience includes four fynbos infused cupcakes paired with four award-winning wines.

Monday – Sunday at 11:30 and 15:00.

Winter at Delheim

This winter get warm and cozy with Delheim’s cheese fondue with an authentic Swiss recipe that oozes dip-liciousness. We combine local Kleinriver Cheese Farmstead’s artisan cheeses.

The fondue consists of the international award-winning flagship Gruberg, Raclette – the only cheese farm in South Africa to make this and the mild flavoured, versatile Colby cheese. Add some Delheim white wine for a hearty ‘blast from the past’. The fondue makes its way to your table with oven-fresh baguette dippers and vegetables.

The cheese and meat platter first launched in 1976, a first in South Africa on a wine farm is still available throughout winter.

Lastly, we are serving a homemade soup of the day coupled with delicious fresh farm bread.
